Resource Development
The Resource Development Committee of the Tallahassee Film Festival Board is charged with the mission of conceiving, cultivating, seeking, securing and maximizing the resources necessary to insure the long-term success of our organization. These resources are defined as both tangible and intangible including human and financial resources. Currently the primary strategies to accomplish this mission include:
- Working in tandem with the Festival Sponsorship Committee to secure single and multi-year supporters for the annual event by targeting local, regional and national corporate partners.
- Implementing our newly created “Friends of Film” Membership Program by targeting individuals in the local area that love Tallahassee and love the movies; then targeting additional movie-loving individuals worldwide through the internet.
- Researching, applying, and tracking funding opportunities through grants from the public and private sector.
- Working in tandem with the Festival Marketing Committee and the Board Communications Committee to take advantage of opportunities that will yield in-kind marketing and public relations benefits.
- Developing personal relationships with key contacts that will result in potential volunteers for our Event and future leadership for our Board.
Our Committee is always in need of passionate people with a commitment to our mission. Background experience or skills in data analysis, writing, public speaking, sales, marketing, fund-raising and/or public relations are a definite plus. Volunteer for the Resource Development Committee today, have fun now and make a difference in the future!
